This book is a way for kids to think about food and trying new things.

How it Connects: The book green eggs and ham appeals to many senses such as sight taste and smell.

How it Connects: There are many repeated lines throughout the book. Teacher can go over stanzas and lines.

Classroom Usage
Independent Reading: After students split up and read the book to themselves, they can write food recipes they like. This will help them improve on comprehension, vocabulary, and writing/spelling.

Differentiation
This book could help ELL students and gifted students by opening them up to new things. Works on their comprehension and identifying repletion and stanzas.
